Re: Custom Tones and 4 cable method. Why does my amp whisper?

I've only had the 500 for a few days myself and have been hooking up with 4CM through a Laney VC50. I have created a bunch of different patches and messed around with some that I downloaded. If you're not using the Edit software on your PC, I definitely recommend doing so. It's VERY easy to tweak settings rather than trying to do it from the console. Each patch I've downloaded has needed tweaking in some way. For levels, go into your mixer and check the channel volumes. You can turn them up. I've also found that if I set both channel pan knobs to dead center it increased the volume. Hope that helped.

Dual Amp Setup - Amp Shuts Off When Pressing Toe Expression Pedal

Thought of another issue. I've set up a patch with dual amps. I set up a wah for Exp 2 using the the toe pedal, but when I press the toe pedal/expression pedal, it turns on the wah but it shuts off one of the amps. I can manually turn it back on but then when I press the toe pedal/exp pedal again to switch the wah off and go back to Exp 1, one of the amps again shuts off. I've gone through the settings over and over and can't figure it out.

Re: POD HD LIVE SETUP

Very informative post and made me think of another question. Hope I'm not hijacking the thread. Would it be wise to set up different set lists/patches depending on whether I'm using an amp onstage or decide to go direct to the PA? I have a Laney VC50 and am using the 4cm hookup. When creating my patches I forgo using a cabinet and use strictly an HD amp preamp. Very happy with the sounds I'm getting. But, if going through a PA, wouldn't my current patches sound very different or lower in quality by not using a full amp and/or cab set up with the patch?

HD500 Looper Problem - Noticeable Pause after recording first take

I've searched for this extensively here and on the internet but have found no answer. I just got the 500 and the only issues I'm having is that when I press the record button for the looper and immediately start recording my progression and then hit the stop button at the exact moment I want it to end, there is a very noticeable pause before the loop starts over. I've tried repeatedly to start and stop exactly on the button stomps to no avail. Also, when using the looper and in looper mode I should be able to hit the "View" button to adjust my loop playback levels but when I hit view nothing happens.

I'm sure it's just a setting or something simple and any help is appreciated.

Thanks
