Interested in selling? I LOVE theV1 variaxes. the body shape, the neck, everything fits my hand just right, I did upgrade the standard tuners, but i put lockers on all my stuff.

Recently found a mint sunburst 600. its THE guitar for me. In fact the piezos have spoiled me.

We have tons of older lighting at church and EVERY guitar with magnetics of any type hums.

not my Variax.....

echo trem arm too; the only downside i hae; i dont use it befcause of that and i dont divebomb; just add movement to chords.

Anyone got a fix?

My sunburst 600 is the one. I played a JTV69 at GC last week. Nice guitar but as a volunteer weekend warrior i cant justify 1400 upgrade.

I liked the flatter radius and the separate tuning knob as well as the rechargable battery and all, but i will stick to my 600 for the forseeable future.

Echo the trem arm play.....

But the pro's totally outweigh the cons.

Line 6 is the best!

needed obscure part for a Variax that has gone down on me. called on the outside chance that they might could help me source it.

Not only did they have one in stock, they are shipping it out to me. Never even asked for money or anything. A prt they really don't stock.

Just. wow.

Blown away by a company that would help a guy with a product thats not only out of support, but not even being made anymore.

Loyal L6 user since POD 1.0.

OK, so I stumbled upon a sunburst 600 a few months ago.Love it. Changed out the tuners for Hipshot lockers like on the JTVs. So far it's rock solid.

The guitar had the bag, bar, wrenches, pilots handbook, XPS AB and PS, gigbag, TRS AND VDI cables. Looked to have never been played.

PLUS, the store had another bag, full of the same goodies for a blue 600 that somehow got out of the store without its bag and all. So, I went back the next week (they promised to hold it for me for $50 bucks) and according to the guy that owns the place, Jeff Cook from Alabama came in the Monday after I bought the guitar looking to buy it. I say BS, as you'd think that a guy that played on 31 No. 1 country hits could call up Marcus Ryle and have him send out one of each the JTVs in return for endorsements. lol.

Anyway, I much prefer the maple board on the 600 and the beef of the maple neck. Play it every day, on the platform on Wednesday night and Sunday morning through either an X3 Live or the recent Xt Live i picked up at a pawn shop for $75 with no PS. (now i have several thanks to the extra gig bag and all goodies)

I appreciate all the info and i still want to find a 700 one day.

Yeah i am a total Line 6 freak. Love the thought and the execution behind their stuff.

(Would be MORE THAN HAPPY to try out a 700 or JTV in return for my (lol) unbiased opinion and do an article comparing/contrasting the old vs. new Variaxes.

I use a mustang 2 as a monitor on the platform.

I go out of the the XLR's to the main house sound and use the 1/4" outs to the mp3 IN on top of the mustang.

Have the amp blowing right up at my head. works like a charm.

i usually keep it low volume just to add some low end so I can still hear when the orchestra gets loud.

too much volume and it fools me into thinking i am louder out front; so i tend to lay back and now play as boldly as i should.

Yes; the POD XT Live, X3 Live and POD HD 500 all have the VDI input jack.

Been using my 300 for 5 years now and the last 2 through the X3 Live in an ampless worship service.
