Relay g-50 and g-55 same or different technologies?

I want to buy a line 6 relay and would prefer to have it on my pedal board like the g-50 but I would also like to have the newer

technology. On the g-55 page they say new 4th generation so I wonder if it's a new technology or just a different model with same quality!?

Sorry my bad!

I tought it was a mic with usb connection that I would have to use it like I use

my sm 57 in front of my rockerverb 50 + 4x12 cab!

Thnaks for the info but...

I would like to be able to Plug in my guitar in the spider valve mk II

then use the direct out directly in a device conected to my pc and hear the sound

from my speakers (not trough the amp)

I would to use this like i was using my toneport (pod studio UX).

Should I buy a small usb sound card or maybe simply go back to

a pod studio UX that cost almost the same price without the hassle!

I don't have any soud cards or interface beside my soundblaster soundcard and i don't want to use it

to record or anything since it only has 1/8.

I would like to know if there is an usb interface/soundcard like toneport or guitarport that would work with this amp?

Wich models are you talking about? I don't want a soundcard to record multitrak, I only want to track some guitar ideas!

I have bought and use many line 6 products and fall in love with them!

From my first original pod to toneport ux2, pod 2.0, pod x3 and now pod x3 live.

I just sold my pod x3 live to buy a spider valve mk II 112 because i need an amp that is portable

for gigs and practice!

Here's my question!

I would like to know what I would need to buy to be able to use the spider valve mk II to record

with the direct out on my pc. Since i sold my tonepord and pod i would like to be able to do the same thing

but only with this amp!

I'm also looking into riffworks full version to track my guitar riffs ideas! (faster and easier tahn reaper!)

This problem has been resolved. The fix was integrated into the production of newer units some time ago. The challenge is that many dealers will still be selling older inventory, so it's not guaranteed that a newly purchased unit will have the fix.

Unofficially, the fix was integrated into factory pruduction as serial number 21X3LxS59xxx... If you purchase one earlier than that it may have the problem; later ones won't. But in any case the problem is fixable under a lifetime warranty; other than the hassle of getting it fixed for free, you definitely won't have to suffer with the problem.

I want to buy a pod x3 live and not the pod x3 bean.

I want to use it in a live setting but also use it as a sound card with USB.

Is there a new version or revision of the pod x3 live without the usb audio dropouts problems?

I have ordered a pod x3 on ebay and I am still waiting for it to arrive. Should be here next monday or tuesday.

I have receive my sound card m-audio fast track ultra and protools 8.

By looking at the conection at the abck of the pod x3, I wouldlike to know wich connection I should use to get the better sound

out of my pod x3 for recording guitars and be able to buy the cables I need before I receive the pod.

Should I plug the right and/or left outpout to my mic/inst in of my fast track ultra or should I use s/pdif??

Toneport UX2 + Good Budget Speakers

I have a toneport UX2 and I really like taht little box!

I want to start recording a pre prod wiht the new songs from my band before we can decide if

we go in the studio or if we do it DIY.

I'm looking for good low budget reference speakers: (looking at M-Audio Studiophile BX5A and Studiophile AV40right now... but the AV 40 are not reference speakers I think)

Are they any good for taht price range? (not over 300$)

Also I'm not sure of what I'll need to conect the speakers to the BX5A, do I use analog out, SPDIF.. (at the back of the toneport) and wich cable

do I need to do this. I know really nothing about this and I jsut wat to be sure of waht I'm buying!!

And anything better than reaper??
