digital tizzyness in background on AC15

Hi can anyone out there help me, when using a AC15 with a tube screamer in front just pushing it a tad gain about20 theres a nasty digital tizz in the background as the notes decay.

Its driving me mad, ive tried using the z and runs at 1m with a vintage strat. all of my other models are perfect and dont suffer with this problem.

Even with no tube screamer its still there only slightly less audiable

Mate try somtin a wee bit different like a Dr z with chandeler tube bass 15- 20 mid 0 tre 0 with say a greenback 4x 12 .57 off axis.i would be interested to see what u think?

Yep i feel the same .When i think back to the old days of my fender & marshall amps i can remember spending hours trying to find somethin that worked for me,but when you find it Happy Days! I think the same applies to the Hd 500 you really need to work at it just like Dare i say it a real amp.Im over the moon now with the sound im getting, but its just like the real thing . It takes a while.

Thanks for your comments line6 miller. My hd 500 is a great piece of kit that im very pleased with, just things like this can be kind of irritating .my old xt never had this problem.i shall perservere.

Thanks David, thats pretty much what i figured i would have to do as a last resort, but i cant say im that impressed with having to do so.

These things should really be sorted before production!

Hi can anyone out there help? Every time i add an effect via the stomp switchs there is a very noticeable rise in volume, which gets louder as i add effects. This really stuffs things up in a live situation.Is there any way of adjusting the output of the chorus and delays in particular in the post amp position?
