Zach - the answer is no.

You are lucky you did not damage your Spider Jam or your computer by doing that.

Even though the jack and cable used on the Spider Jam to connect to the pedal looks the same as the ethernet network port on your computer they are NOT COMPATIBLE!!

The only way you can transfer songs from the Spider Jam to a computer is by using the SD card in the Spider Jam. You record to the SD card in WAV fomrat and then you can take the SD card out of the SJ and put it into an SD card reader on the computer.

You could connect the RCA line outputs on the back of the Spider Jam to a computer audio input and record from the PSider Jam to your recording software on your computer or you can con connect the RCA outputs to inputs on a DAW (digital audio workstation)

If you have not done so you need to read the Users Guide and the Advanced User's Guide and stick to what those manuals say you can do or you are going to have a Spider Jam that will not work at all.

I tryed it and it scrambeled all the letters on my spider jam. Then i unpluged it and it went back to normal. Is it not ment for this or can i transfer files this way????
