Is there an analog signal path on the cable depite getting power and sending/recieving digital patch information over the digital cable? I'm thinking the digital connection (10-base T) technology is just not up to professional reliability, because my band has had it with my **** ******* up on the gigs!

I guess it sounds similar to a lead that has got air in it.

It had the same problem in 2004, 2 weeks after I bought it, of course back then, it was straight back to the shop who sent it to Line 6 (UK). Now though, well out of warranty I don't know what to do. The noise is there regardless of wether I use batteries or mains (I've tried batteries in & out when using mains), several leads, different amps etc.

I've reflashed it several times with Monkey but to no avail.

I had been hoping to sell it and put it towards a Tyler Variax but it seems I've either got to get it to Line 6 to repair or sell as faulty unless anyone can shed any light?

Thanks in advance.

AndyB
