check and see if you have the amp in 'normal or 'performance' mode

these two modes tell the amp where to direct the songs/drums. In NORMAL mode the songs/drums AND guitar ALL come through the amp speaker.

in PERFROMANCE mode ONLY the guitar comes through the amp speaker and the songs/drums (and guitar) are routed through the RCA jacks on the back of the amp to be fed into a PA or other sound system.

When you have the headphones plugged song/drums and guitar are ALWAYS routed to the headphones

this is from page 4-5 of the Spider Jam Pilot Guide that comes with the amp:

Output Routing for RCA Jacks

You can choose what signals are sent to the RCA jacks on the back of the unit:

Press the Tone / Settings button three times to show the additional functions.

Turn the Select knob to highlight Output Routing

Press right on the 4-way button.

To have everything come out of both Spider Jam’s on-board speakers and the RCA jacks, turn the

Select knob to select Normal

To have the Guitar come out of Spider Jam’s 12-inch speaker and everything else come out of the RCA jacks, turn the

Select knob to select Performance

Easy, just take out the plug from the headphone enter or ask someone to weld speaker´s coonnections. Hugzzz from Brasil!

I Have LINE 6 spider jam - the drum and songs no longer play throught the speakers but will play through the headphone jack only.Is there a way to turn back on the sounds?
