OK, but ASIO4ALL wasn't the problem so I don't immediately understand how that is helpful. It technically works for some audio devices and programs from what I hear.

My problem was actually very simple to resolve.. It seems that the little tray icon that was installed along side of the drivers for my M-Audio Fast Track Pro was the entire problem. The reason being that it was programmed to keep programs from directly accessing the device. Sort of a middle man. I removed it from startup, removed ASIO4ALL, rebooted, and problem solved. I thought I had tried this but apparently I did not.

My only complaint so far is their time between replies. I'm not happy about waiting days or weeks to to resolve this issue. If it takes more than 2 weeks to resolve I would call that unacceptable.

I would have to agree Line6Miller. I originally contacted Sonoma on Sat, Jan 22, 2011 at 2:54 PM. They just got back to me yesterday and I provided additional details as well as log files they requested. I will try to work with Sonoma first and let you know how I make out. For security purposes I have removed any personally identifiable information but I have attached the email thread between Sonoma support and myself up to this point. When I get more information I will let you know. Thanks for your reply.

This really sounds like it's more of Sonoma Wireworks issue with the application.

Work with Sonoma support and see if they can help you first. if not let us know and we'll see if we can get you a refund.

I know both Sonoma and Line 6 have a no return policy for this software but my purchase history with Line 6 will likely help me get a refund from their store which is where I purchased it. I am in talks right now with Sonoma about support. An engineer is supposed to reach out to me Monday. We will see what happens. I will update the thread if I find an answer.

I'd go after Sonoma. They include your Fast Track audio device under their list of recommened Windows devices for Riffworks:
