As noted before, I think Line 6 will adress the issues for POD HD300 and POD HD400, maybe it'll come in the V 1.3 update for those.

Since the update hasn’t been released yet the results are pretty much speculation (not that it's a bad thing). Do another poll a few weeks after the update has been released and see if the results are better or worse

With 1.3 already coming it would be a surprise if they added a 1.22 update for the 300/400
