This has happened to me too! How difficult is it to do it yourself. What equipment did you use? I'm assuming you can't use a soldering gun. Any help would be much appreciated.

My ax2 is stuck in tuner mode. I have read old post explaining exactly what the problem is. Component U7 sometimes recieves damage from ESD coming in through the floorboard jack. I want to know where can i get the replacement IC chip? I heard they are a couple of bucks. I can replace surface mount components myself and save tons of money. please help!!!
