I think it even comes with an adapter that will work in Australia (but I can't remember).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It uses a universal power supply, much like a laptop power supply, and comes with different adapters for different countries. Worst case, you just need a $10 travel adapter (not a transformer, just a physical adapter).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm an Aussie living in the US, but my 500 is is Oz and it works fine there. I bought it in the US due to the price gouging that goes on in Oz.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Short answer: you can buy it in the US and plug it in in Australia and it'll be fine.
