andy i think that is the size of the allen wrench 1.5 mm calculates to .059 thousandths... which makes sense if its a 3mm screw...

you probably wont find them at the local hardware store. i tryed myself. you can however order some from msc supply company. thats where my shop gets them. go to msc supply co. web site . in search type in 3mm set screws and that page will come right up. measure the lenght of the origonal one . if they dont have one that length then buy a longer one and grind it down to length. we do this all the time.good luck

Someone answered this in the old forum. I'll see if I can find the thread for you. Line 6 should be able to sell you some of these anyway if you contact them

I found this on Page 26 of the old Variax Forum as suggested by Crusty Old Rocker:

"The grub screws that are used for the saddle height adjustment are the same size as the trem arm grub screw. So, take one of those to your friendly nut and bolt supplier and ask for one like it."

It doesn't give you the size though, sorry.

Found a few pages on that the grub screw might be an m3 thread size from d8veh - still looking though...

I lose the little screw that holds the Variax 700's tremelo arm in place. I would like to buy a half dozen or so of them. How can I obtain these? What are their specifications?
