All you need are the 2 left and right speaker cables. Make sure you use speaker cables and not standard guitar/instrument cables.

ok so my 150 I can buy a Cabinet for... what else do I need to do so... Because now that I've got that straight im gonna do that this week. Thanks for the info

Well, you must have a Spider III 150 amp, not a combo amp! yes, you can plug a cabinet into it, but again, you need to plug both sides of the amp (left and right) into the stereo cabinet.

ok but on the back of my Spider iii it has a left and right speaker outputs. 8 ohms each. You're saying I cant plug it through a cabinet that way?

Yes, make sure you have the impedance (ohm ratings) matched up correctly. You might just want to trade out your Spider 120 for a 150 amp Head.

The headphone jack is not powered (or minimum power, anyway), so could only be used to drive an external amp to drive a cabinet.

right but i was wondering if its possible to connect a spider III 120w to a cabinet using the headphone jack as an amp output towards the cab?

Our Spider III and IV combo amps don't have any jacks for external speaker cabinet options, actually.

The 120 watt combo falls into this category.

With Spider III or IV 150 HD (head) models, these have two (2) individual speaker outs, each of which are wired at 8-ohms. They are both required to see an 8-ohm load, so if you decide to go with a Spider III or IV 150HD, be sure to have 2 different cabinets wired at 8-ohms each. If you only connect one of these two speaker outputs, damage to the unconnected output side's power transformer will eventually occur!

i had a question ive been wondering for a while now and i was hoping if anyone who has knowledge or experience with this stuff......can a Spider III or IV 120w work with a Line 6 cabinet? see im looking at buying a half stack and i was thinking to get the cab for now and then a few weeks later ill get the head so if anyone can help me out id greatly appreciate any info...... thanks
