I am still having problems getting my UX1 to work on a PC not connected to the Internet. I have registered the UX1 already. Following an answer to a post I used an online computer to get the aet file and transfer it to the unconnected PC. BUT... The directory that I am supposed to copy to does not exist on the unconnected PC (GuitarPort) although it does on the connected one. Also, because I have an iLok device on my unconnected PC for other software, I get a message that I have to buy an iLok licence. Can someone tell me, from square one, how I install, register, authorise etc etc my UX1 on my unconnected PC please? Many thanks.

What do you do when your computer's not connected to the Internet? I get the same message with my UX1.

you have to register your GX first: http://de.line6.com/account/registergear/

once done, launch Monkey and update your software; if you haven't done it yet, get PodFarm 2.51 and install it: http://de.line6.com/software/

last, launch Line6 License Manager to authorise your PC and GX: http://line6.com/account/licenses/instructions/

I just purchased a line 6 gx, and installed it to my computer. it worked with guitar rig, but I would prefer to use POD farm (which i've installed already). When i start POD farm, it states the following:

"POD Farm 2 has detected a vlid POD Farm 2 licence on your GX, but it hasn't been authorized for this computer.

POD Farm 2 will not process audio.

Simply run Line 6 Monkey to authorize your GX and restart POD Farm 2".

Now, I have line 6 monkey too, and ive used it to download updates etc. But where the heck do you authorize there? Im really stuck and would like to start playing guitar and recording stuff, as this device should be doing.

Help will be appreciated.
