I really like it, too. The covers look a bit "vintage" on that guitar, because they are not as shiny as the chrome parts like bridge etc.

I also installed pickup covers on my JTV-59.

I bought my covers in germany at musicstore cologne and they fit really well. If you are interested, I bought these covers:

Just got some nickel covers on mine that fit perfectly. They are 50mm in size and I got them from here - http://www.axesrus.co.uk/Humbucker-Cover-German-Silver-Nickel-p/lpc003-4-5.htm

I just took the cream casing off then soldered the sides of the cover to the underside of the pickup. Pretty easy; and I think you'll agree, my JTV looks incredible now! FYI: It hasn't effected the tone in anyway that I can tell so don't worry about that!

A bit more then drilling. The top of the bigsby has a front screw & it was too thick about 3 m"m. half of it had to fit under the tailpiece. so i used a dremil just the part that go's under but enough space to put the screw in.
Had to drill 2 screw's on the top to hold the bigsby firmly to the surface & 4 screws where the strap holds.

How did you get the Bisby on there? Did it involve any drilling? It looks great. Does it add much weight?

I purchased some standard Gibson humbucker pickup rings and they absolutely do not fit. Neither the pickup adjustment holes nor the 4 other screw holes line up. Somewhat related: The standard Gibson-sized switch tip also does not fit.

Interesting, not sure why I couldn't get any to fit! At any rate, I ordered some well-reviewed 'bucker sized p-90s from Guitarfetish and I'm going to give those a shot. I figured I love p-90 sounds anyway and those weren't my favorite models in the JTV anyway...I'll keep you guys posted how it sounds!
