That is now a dead link. Line6.com doesn't know how to prevent dead links. Here's the new URL, they apparently moved the blog off the main servers and onto a subdomain of its own, breaking ALL blog URLs in one fell swoop (good move geniuses).

http://blog.line6.com/2010/what-is-reamping-and-how-do-i-reamp/

Yes I'm bitter about line6 because installing, registering, and licensing my Studio GX was one of the worst experiences of my life. (I exaggerate just a tad )

The drunken monkeys who programmed the installer, license manager, and registration code are surely the same ones who broke the blog URLs. Bonuses all around.

The UX2 and KB37 also feature microphone inputs with phantom power to allow to use condenser microphones for vocals.

For more information about reamping with a POD Studio device check out the blog about it at the link below:

 http://line6.com/support/community/line_6_blog/blog/2010/02/19/what-is-reamping-and-how-do-i-reamp

If the Pod Studios work as a good DI then thats great for me! Cheers

I am interested in either the Pod Studio UX2 or the KB37, because I could record the vocals, guitars and bass through these which is nice to be able to do through one unit, but before I buy one, I need to know if I buy a re-amp box, will I be able to re-amp through these? Would I have to buy a DI box aswel? Or could you advice me on other line 6 interfaces I could use instead?

It doesn't appear that you registered the serial number into this account; if you haven't done so, please do it here first: http://line6.com/account/registergear/

Once you've done that, we can check to see what options are available natively to your particular unit and advise you accordingly. I have a macbook pro and use logic express. Can I use the Studio UX2 as a DI straight into logic, then plug a re-amp box from the Studio UX2 and into my amp?
