I agree with Zap... you should be able to develop your playing with the Spider Jam's onboard amp/effect modelling for now.

If and when the time comes and you wish to really get into programming your own sounds for recording/live usage, the POD HD500 will be there for you to test drive.

it might be a bit of duplication... i would recommend that you spend the extra money on the FBVMKII to get a bit more out of it... it will also work on a pod if you decide to get one down the road....

i'd stick with just the jam until you outgrow it or want more options.

hi pleasee help.... i am going to get a spider jam 75w and since it has alot of effects built in, will it be a waste to by a pod also or is the pod different.

andd do you have any suggesstons of add ons to get the most of the amp
