Ok, so I've been searching the forums and reading the manuals for the HD 300.

I need to run my HD 300 direct to the mixer.

I've been doing this using a single xlr, and the dip switches on the back set to studio.

Does one have to run both xlrs to the front of house mixer for the optimal sound?

I don't have the option of having an amp with me, for all intents and purposes the HD 300 is the amp. And as far as I know I can't run more than one xlr, there isn't space at the mixer.

Do Ineed to get a dummy 1/4 inch plug and fool the device to get a better sound? Or can I just use one XLR and if so which port? Left or right? If I do get the dummy plug, I run the HD 300 in Dual mode?

Any help is appreciated. The manual doesn't really spell it out if you should use two for runing direct or if you can get by using a single xlr.
