You will need a power amplifier if you want to drive a speaker cabinet.

You cannot use the POD HD Pro to drive a speaker cabinet; you will need an amplifier.

Currently this is my setup:

ESP M-300 FM ----> TU-3 ---> Dunlop Crybaby ---> POD HD Pro ---> (FX send) Ernie ball VP jr. ---> HD Pro (FX return) ---> PA system

Instead of plugging into my PA system, could I plug the line out of the HD Pro directly into a Guitar Cab? I am upgrading my amp soon and currently dont have money for the amp head but I do have enought for the cab. Could I buy the cab now and use just that while i save up for the head? I'm not sure if the POD HD Pro output is 4 ohms or whatever I need. Thanks
