Currently the Mobile POD software does not support the ability to 'mulitask' with other programs while outputting it's processed signal. As soon as you go to another app, the audio playback from Mobile POD will stop. I believe this is more a less a limitation of what is called "USB host mode" on the iOS devices.

I have now discovered that if you leave mobile in connected and switch off with mobile pod as the last active application the software still functions. There must be a fine line between this state and flicking to a songbook or as other discussions have mentioned and solved, using iTunes to jam with.

I have no issue with being able to jam, just to be able to use the mobile pod software in a live situation gigging or rehearsing but just to be able to use my songbook at the same time.

Otherwise the whole Mobilein/mobile pod set up is awesome especially the link to custom tone which I believe has some 10000 settings for use with the pod software. Brilliant.

I need to keep mobile pod live whilst reading lyrics from a second piece of software. I am sure when I first plugged in a tried thisnthatbthere was a red bar at the top of the screen that did exactly this - a similar feature exists in amplitude. There appears to be no main menu for settings within mobile pod to set this feature. Can somebody please help?
