Hello, people!!! The problem was solved by changing USB port. (i use front ports on my station PC). Good luck!

I'm sorry that you've experienced this issue. It may be related to an issue where using HD500 edit will produce a loud squeal. We're actively working toward a fix to this problem. I'm creating a support ticket for each of you so we can continue to supply our Engineering group with data that they can use to help them do just that. I would recommend removing all other USB devices from the computer and testing the POD on all of the computer's USB ports. Completely remove ANY USB hubs, even if not in use, and test all of your ports with the POD.

Let us know if anything changes.

You know that happens to me then I get a thousand decibel squeel. See my thread looks like the same problem. The global reset solution doesn't work.

I would suggest to try a global settings reset and then a pedal calibration.

We have instructions on how to do both of these procedures available at the link below:

After performing these, try it out again to see how it works. If you still are receiving a problem, please do your best to provide us with a step by step recipe to reproduce the problem. Provide us with a patch as well if the patch is neccesary to recreate the problem.

Yep, I get it occasionally too. I also get problems with patches looking fine in HD Edit and on the display, but the amp sounds disabled/turned down on the unit. Moving a hardware knob on the unit itself restores the patch to what it should be.

Update: the problem occurs most often when running any DAW and ASIO resources are used

Yes. I also tried different versions of HD Edit - same problem.
