The unit should hold a full charge new out of the box, the battery does not need to be broken in in order for it to hold a full charge. If you are still within the 30 return period, you can exchange it for a new one from your dealer. If the initial 30 days have passed then you can request a RMA for warranty replacement. Its brand new from a dealer. Got it for Christmas.Only charged it twice. Each time it only held a charged for about an hour. Then when I plugged it in to charge, it was yellow (50-75%). It's set for 16 bit. Made sure it was off in between uses.Wonder if it will hold longer the more I charge it.Or just send it back.

Not enough info about your unit and history. Did you just buy a brand new unit from a dealer? Or have you been using your Backtrack for a while and are now experiencing a change in behavior? Please let me know more details so we have a better understanding of what might be wrong on your end.

When plugged in to charge, light blinks yellow. Indicating 50-75% charge!!!!

Any thoughts?
