The problem occurred when the amp was laid up for two to three weeks over Christmas in a dry, unheated store room which probably got down to below zero. It has not happened again since, holding memory of both the 4 channels and the extra channels with the footboard. It would still be nice to know if it is a battery or a storage cap that holds these setting because one day the battery will die or the cap go weak.... My Line 6 hd750 is almost new and works fine but it appeared to 'lose its memory' in the two week none gigging period over Christmas. Is there an internal battery or perhaps a faulty cap?

Mike.....
