Yes I rebooted everthing batries are new yes on the update no on the 75 stays in loader mode a seconf or less.

Have you tried the total re-boot I described above? Are the batteries in the TX reasonable fresh? Are you sure you selected the correct update ... and not mistakenly tried to flash it as a V75?

How long in seconds will it stay in loader mode? It does "time-out" if it doesn't sync up to the receiver when you start the flash proceedure.

gI'm Having the same issue. I hav 2 xd v70's the first on worked great but the second handheld wont stay in loader mode. Were you able to get yours fixed?

Reboot your computer and completely stray over. Reflash your v75 receiver and then try the tx again. I have never seen a transmitter get bricked.

I'm having the exact same issue. Hand held showes Loader On for a second, the reboots. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to get this hand held to update?

Yep - purchased through a legit dealer in July 2011. I have re-verified the procedure, and did as you suggest - waiting until the receiver was in RF Loader Mode before entering loader mode on the V70 transmitter. No change - as soon as the handheld says "Loader On", the backlight goes off, it says Line6, and reboots.

I'm pretty sure I've managed to brick the bootloader, though as I mention the mic works fine. Time for a ride home?

Did you get this mic from a dealer? I saw something like that happen in "alpha" pre-production units, but never with a production unit.

Make sure you click "OK" in Monkey before putting the mic in loader mode. Once Monkey is waiting to connect to the mic, then put it in loader mode.

Anything is possible, but I am 99.99% sure I chose the V70 handheld as the target. The buttons are not stuck. I can easily perform the sequence to enter the boot loader, it displays "Loader On", but then almost immediately reboots. I had no trouble getting it into loader mode the first time, and I must have tried the procedure a dozen times with slightly different variations of timing.
