+1 to Zap. This is correct... sorry I didn't catch this sooner. When you connect the FBV Shortboard MKII to a POD or Spider IV/Spider Valve amp (in other words, a proprietary Line 6 FBV controllable host device), this connection takes precedence over the MIDI over USB communication to the computer.

If you want to use it as a remote MIDI over USB controller for your recording software, it has to be connected via USB exclusively.

Yes quite sure I made all the things you said ...

The pedalboard works fine if I connect it straight to the PC ... if I connect the pedalboard to the Pod HD Pro the MIDI message doesn't "arrive" to the sequencer ... I'll try once again

Did you make sure and program the MIDI commands into the footswtiches of the POD HD Pro? The POD HD Pro can send MIDI commands that are generated from a connected FBV controller to the POD HD Pro's MIDI out port.

Reference the POD HD Pro advanced user guide pages C1 - C9 for more information on how to program the MIDI commands sent by the POD HD Pro available at the link below:

Connect the MIDI out from the POD HD Pro to the MIDI In of whatever device you are trying to control.

it can only control one thing at a time... so no...you can't control your pod hd pro AND your DAW. sorry.

Hi !

I'm very interested sending MMC start / stop to Cubase from my Shortboard MKII pedalboard.

If I connect the pedalboard to my audio card everything works fine ...

If I connect the pedalboard to my Pod HD Pro, than the MIDI OUT from Pod HD Pro to MIDI IN of my sound card, Cubase doesn't recognize the MMC message ...

Where is the mistake in my connections ? Can I work in this way ?
