This is correct... sorry I didn't catch this sooner. When you connect the FBV Shortboard MKII to a POD or Spider IV/Spider Valve amp (in other words, a proprietary Line 6 FBV controllable host device), this connection takes precedence over the MIDI over USB communication to the computer.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you want to use it as a remote MIDI over USB controller for your recording software, it has to be connected via USB exclusively.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:a7e03a04-00dc-49b5-b375-44901bf1b519] --&gt;</description>
