Make sure to connect it directly to a USB port and not a USB hub, extension, or keyboard of any kind, preferably connect it to a USB port on the rear of computer. Try using additional USB cables and every USB port available until you are able to launch Line 6 Monkey and detect the device.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"&gt;After Launching Line 6 Monkey apply any updates that are available until you have a green check next to each component.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"&gt;Next close all open applications and use the License Manager software to de-authorize and re-authorize your device. I registered and I also authorized it yesterday. I am having trouble getting sound out of the device. I use headphones plugged in to the UX1. When I load up POD Farm it says no device is recognized or connected. My OS which is Windows XP SP3, recognizes my device and I have it as default for my sound. I installed all the updates from Line 6 Monkey as well. POD Farm is still not recognizing it.
