It's not a true bypass - there will still be an A/D and D/A conversion applied to the signal but this won't really be noticeable for pracitcal purposes.

Of course, if all you're looking for is an audio interface with no onboard processing, there are many cheaper options!

The HD300 does not send a Dry signal over the usb interdace to your DAW. You can provide one over the regular usb Record Send signals by simply not using any amp or FX in your HD300 signal chain. You will then be able to reamp the signal later in your DAW using one of the VST processors that you mention (or Pod Farm if you have/want it).

Note that during recording you will have to either:

- monitor the dry signal with no latency via the HD300 outputs (headphones or connected monitors); OR

- monitor the processed signal in your DAW, with whatever minimal latency your DAW monitoring can provide.

Hey guys!
Is it possible to use the pod hd300 as a usb interface? Will I be able to do so by bypassing effects and amp models? Is there any way to turn of the noise gate, reverb, delay etc? Im asking this question because I want to know whether ill be able to use it with amp sim softwares such as revalver or guitar rig or amplitube.
Thanks.
