So, I reinstalled the device firmware but the problem is still there. In fact, less frequent than before. And yes, I forgot to mention before that there is one more problem. Sometimes when I try to enter tuner mode by holding the tuner footswitch, as soon as it enters the tuner mode it exits by itself.

What do I do now? The problem is still there with the bank containing factory presets too. And sometimes instead of taking back to different presets on a different bank after exiting the Tuner mode it just shows USER PRESET taking to a different location at the same time.

Well here is the list of FS sequence when this problem comes in.

26D -> Tuner Mode -> Hit Tuner button/FS(A,B,C,D) -> 23C

23D -> Tuner Mode -> Hit Tuner button/FS(A,B,C,D) -> 23C

26(A,B or C) -> Tuner Mode -> Hit Tuner button/FS(A,B,C,D) -> 26D

20(A,B or D) -> -> Tuner Mode -> Hit Tuner button/FS(A,B,C,D) -> 20B

I just realized that this problem comes in whenever I use the Tuner while I am in a Bank of the presets that I created. But it seems to work fine when I use the Tuner from the Bank of Factory Presets.

Thank You,

Bijen.

Please try to provide a specific and reapeatable recipe to reproduct this behaviour. I suggest you make sure HD400 Edit is not running (just to remove one variable).

Start by powering the HD400 on and then list the minimum sequence of footswitch operations to repdroduce the problem. Then others can try to reproduce it wnd we'll be able to tell if it is something that needs to be fixed in the firmware or if it's just something with your device.

If the latter, I would start by backing up any important presets and then do a factory reset.

http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2043

followed by a pedal calibration:

http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2044

If that doesn't work, I would run Line 6 Monkey with the HD400 connected and update (or reinstall) the latest firmware.
