Not sure about the HD400 but on the HD500 there is a minescule delay. I do know that the world seems to be divided into people who hardly notice it (like me) and others who find it teethgrindingly irritating.

I'm having the same issue with my hd400.. when switching between presets, there is a slight delay before it engages.. no hd edit or computer connected.. is it a glitch or just the way it is? it's definitely not acceptable and I will have to return it if it can't be fixed.

Do you have HD Edit running and the POD connected by USB Cable? When you change patches with the USB plugged in it can be slow. Try removing the USB calbe from one end and changing patches using the footswitches. Does this work better?

Hello, I have a problem.When I switch from a preset to antoher on my Pod the sound changes, but then the sound stops for maybe a 1/4 a second and then comes back. After that everything is normal but it's very annoying when playing and every time i change to another preset there is this glitch or something. Can it be that my firmware isn't updated? Please help it is really annoying.
