The original speaker was a custom design that we manufactured to their (Line 6) specifications. The closest stock model we offer to 121496 is the Legend GB128.

Those were custom-made flat response speakers for us way back in the day. I checked with the Parts Administrator and we no longer have those exact speakers for sale, in case you're trying to replace them. He suggested the flat-response 8-ohm speakers for our Flextone III 212's:

Part # is:11-20-0002

I know it is an Eminence speaker made/rebranded for Line 6 after doing some reasearch. What model it is - or is close to - I have no idea.

I love the stock speakers in my AX2-12 amps - yes I have 2 of them - and I want to get a replacement speaker to put in another amp that I have. What is the model /make of these speakers or what isthe closest thing sonically that is out there now. I am not looking for an improvement and I have played through lots of brands of speakers - I am looking for THE SAME THING if it is out there.

The back of my both speakers in one of my AX212's just says 8 ohm G1 Tube Tone and have the serial numbers 121496 and in bold 11-21-1200. There is no branding on it other than a big red Line 6 sticker.
