Now what I want to know is how do I add a song in reaper and play along to it. I am doing youtube cover videos after all and I have never used direct in recording before.

You can add the POD Farm plug-in to the dry signal post processing.

There may be a bit of a learning curve but you can start here

http://wiki.cockos.com/wiki/index.php/Reaper_Documentation

And Reaper also has a pretty good forum.

Although you can record Bass with the UX1, you may want to look into the Bass Expansion pack.

I own a POD Studio UX1. I managed to get the software working and all that but I have hit a problem. The problem being that I have never recorded my bass direct in before.

I downloaded reaper (x64) and need some help and advice to get every thing up and working. I also want to know how you record covers using reaper as well. I no next to nothing about recording software or how to set it up. I currently have no audio monitors at this time either (for the analog outs)
