easiest way is to drag and drop an mp3 onto an empty audio track

Ok. I watched the tutorial. My drivers are all updated. Now what I want to know is how do I add a song in reaper and play along to it. I am doing youtube cover videos after all and I have never used direct in recording before.

First make sure you have the latest drivers for your UX1

In a nutshell, to get started in Reaper select the UX1 ASIO as your device.

Insert 2 tracks and arm them to record.

On one track select sends 1/2, on the other track select sends 3/4.

In this fashion you will capture both the dry and wet signal. You can add the POD Farm plug-in to the dry signal post processing.

Although you can record Bass with the UX1, you may want to look into the Bass Expansion pack.

I own a POD Studio UX1. I managed to get the software working and all that but I have hit a problem. The problem being that I have never recorded my bass direct in before.

I downloaded reaper (x64) and need some help and advice to get every thing up and working. I also want to know how you record covers using reaper as well. I no next to nothing about recording software or how to set it up. I currently have no audio monitors at this time either (for the analog outs)
