I don't know the Spider amps, sorry, but if you can turn off the amp modelling on the amp and set the controls as 'flat' as they can be (usually at the 12 o'clock position for Bass, Mid, Treble and zero position for presence, drive etc.). Then use the XT's modelling for the Peavey sound. Whether it will sound good I cannot say, you'll need to experiment with different Spider settings and different output modes on your PODxt (direct/combo/stack etc.).

What I mean is a PODxt and there is my question, do it is the best way to create a 5150 peavey amp sound with my spider IV?

Thanks!

First we need to check what product you mean - there is no such thing as a Podxt 2.0. Do you mean a PODxt or a POD2.0 (two very different devices)?

If you mean a PODxt then yes the FBV Express MkII will work fine.

If you mean a POD2.0 then it depends upon the age of the POD2.0. Older models have the label "Pedal" written on the rear and cannot use the FBV range of pedal. If it is a later POD2.0 then the label will read "FBV Pedal" and you can use the FBV range of pedals in this version of the POD2.0.

You cannot use one pedal to control the amp and Pod if that is what you are trying to do, although I believe some have experimented with splitting the cables, but I do not know if these attempts were succesful.
