But the distortion just wasn't there, I got a clean tone. The amp was the treadplate and there were no other effects, and the drive was up, the amp was enabled, etc etc. It was only when I switched off the patch and to a different bank, then came back to it that the distortion in the amp model was there.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In other words, I can no longer count on the amp model affecting the guitar's sound every time I call up the patch. I was having an issue when&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;moving patches around from one bank to another, where it it sounded good in the first location then sounded weak and clean&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;in the new location. i found out that the Amp was switching from on to off.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:1acbbc2f-a761-415d-9de3-958656bb8151] --&gt;</description>

I updated the firmare , Un-installed and re-installed the firm ware, While the POD HD 500 is connected to the PC &amp;gt; I open the set list in Pod hd 500 edit,&amp;#160; They sound just fine.
