Connecting POD HD Pro to Pro Tools 10.

I recently updated my DAW to Pro Tools 10 and I'm currently having a wealth of trouble trying to get a signal via USB into Pro Tools 10 (Mac). I seem to be able to get the POD via USB to work with Logic extremely easily (the same with Amplitube etc.) but not PT10. The only reason I want to record via USB is because of the quality difference I've noticed when using SPDIF or the XLR outputs into my external soundcard (Presonus Firepod). When I go to the Audio Midi Setup, I set the input device to the POD but it doesn't get any signal through at all. Just wondering if anyong out there has had this problem or can help me find a way to fix it.

Screen caps would be helpful as I suck with DAWs.

Thanks in advance!
