      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:45500c6e-6de1-4c99-9733-2663eb656268] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I am definitely no expert but I I have a pocket pod (which I love) and the same thing happened to me re loud hum, but I changed the fairly high maximum output mains adaptor for a low 300ma maximum one I got with a zoom pedal, and the hum went away! It shouldn't make any difference what the maximum amp load is, and maybe that wasn't even the problem, but using a different adaptor totally cured it - why I don't know, but maybe it's worth a try..?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:45500c6e-6de1-4c99-9733-2663eb656268] --&gt;</description>

It may be very localized - have you tried using different electrical outlets throughout your house? Can you test it in another house/location?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You may need a power 'cleaner'. When using power from a wall socket (using recommended adaptors), I get a noticeable humming noise. When Itouch something metal on my guitar or the units the hum is reduced. Also, when I connect the units to my computer via USB, the hum is greatly reduced.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have tried several guitars and cables and the problem persists. I think the problem is either with the units or the ground in my house electrical supply.
