It should take a minute or 2 to download. You are not downloading, you are trying to install the download, but it sounds like there may have been a glitch when you did that. Delete the file, and download again from line6, then try to install again.

I have now clicked NO, and it still doesn't do anything. How long is it supposed to take to download. As I said above, I have left this running all afternoon before and it still doesn't finish. It has now been running for 30 minutes and is still running. I don't believe that it is possible to do.

Then click 'no" when it asks if you want to do a factory restore.

"Factory restore" would return the FBV Express Mk II ( I assume you have a MkII) to original settings. You want to update to the new firmware.

I am once again trying to update the software on my FBV express. Once again I am at the stage where nothing appears to happen. I have updated line monkey, and plugged in the pedal. It asked if I want factory restore, to which I click yes. It then starts the update, i.e, the blue bar moves to the end. It then just hangs. If I try to quit, I get a wanring not to. The last time I let it run all afternoon, and it still didn't finish, i then just quit. Does anyone know how long this precess is supposed to take, and if there is any other way of updating the pedal. Dispite several attempts, I have never managed this update.
