All iPad's will work, 1,2, and 3. I'm working with the iPad 1 myself, without a hassle.

I'm thinking of buying a used iPad to use with my mixer. Does anyone know if a iPad generation 1 will work with the app. If I can use an older iPad I can pickup on eBay a lot cheaper than buying a new one.
