The MIDI interface is used only for program change commands and some continuous controller commands.

To record using the X3L you need to use audio - not midi - tracks via the X3L usb connection (or some other audio interface to which the X3L analog outputs are connected).

POD X3L - Can't connect to Mac

Hi,

Appreciate any help/advice on this. I'm running a Mac OS 10.5, I've downloaded the latest Pod drive 7.1.4. I've tried to setup the X3 in the system preferences->MIDI setup. The X3L can be selected as an input device but i am not able to adjust the sound levels. There is no recording signal when I try to record with garageband. I've already set X3L as the input device under garageband's preferences.

What is wrong and how can i get this to work?

Thanks

David
