I have a full battery with the volume up and I get a red light on the USB hub on the Variax side. The USB cable is plugged into the back of my desktop PC... running Windows XP Pro..

Any suggestions????

******UPDATE********

Very important!!! LINE 6... ADD THIS TO YOUR INSTRUCTIONS!!!!

You must plug a 1/4 cable into your guitar in order to get 2 green lights on the USB interface.

The other end of the 1/4 cable doesn't have to plug into anything else.

Once I did this... I got two green lights and the update went smooth.

Will try to reflash with an older flash than 1.9 tomorrow, gettin late. Using the latest Line 6 Monkey 1.62.

Windows 7 computer, JTV Battery showing 4 Green LEDs, also had 1/4" plug in.

When tried 1.9 using that same method with guitar still on and attached, it failed. Maybe there is something wrong with the firmware patch itself?

Please post if you get it to work and explain how.

thanks
