You can plug into the MP3 input (stereo plug) - that's what it is made for. Note that you will have to control the volume and tone with the player device (the input bypasses the preamp/amp controls). You can then play along with the MP3 by plugging your guitar into the guitar input jack.

Hello. Azwan here. I've just got myself the brand new Spider IV 30watts. So I have this thought on mind, could this amp be used as a MP3 amplifier, as in I plug in my phone or MP3 devices to the amp, and WOULD IT AFFECTS the amp as in would it damage or lower the quality of the amp next that I plugged in my guitar ? Thanks.
