Hi

I just got my new pod hd500 today.

I use hdedit software on my mac book osX 10.5.8 and when i try to se the bpm in hd edit, my floor unit do not respond to it, and when it does it shows 3 or - 3 bpm wrong.

I need to use the mouse to make it respond. So to get 100 bpm in my hd500, i need to set it (with mouse) to 103 or 97 in hd edit (software) to get 100 on my podhd500.

Can u help me? This makes it frustrating!

yes i have all updates. first thing i did was to install flash memory and hd edit software v2.21

and i have used monkey software for many years since i am an eager UX2 and gearbox user

i have also tried to reintsall drivers and software now, but still same problem

i have also tried new usb cable

it does not happen when i install older version of hdpro edit software. only on the newest one (2.21).

But if i use the older one, i dont get the new line 6 amps

Today I tried to reinstall flash memory, hd edit and drivers, but still the same problem

But now I found a workaround:

1. Type in desired BPM in hdedit tap tempo window, lets say 118 BPM, press enter (if u did not know)

2. hd500 floor unit will not respond with the BPM you typed, but will open correct window

3. Type in anything but your desired tempo in BPM window again, lets say 208 BPM (press enter), and voila, floor unit shows the BPM you typed in first.

4. Dont bother if hdedit sofware tells you wrong BPM after saving, just change to another sound and back again and it will show you the correct BPM

-Ben
