Glad the preset works for you. Tweak to taste, and add or remove FX as desired.

+1 to hurghanico. You will get better results going in Studio mode output direct to mixer, PA, or powered studio speakers.

Man, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I loaded the patch up and it works great. Now I just have to tweak the FX a little! Thanks so much I really aprpeciate it!

+1 to silverhead

just don't expect to get great results sending your voice and ac.guitar signals to the power-amp of a Blues Deluxe combo amp, even with the HD FXs aid..

your voice will sound like boxed, and your acoustic guitar will seem almost electric..

sending the signal that comes from the pod to a keyboard amp or to a small PA instead of a el.guitar amp, would be much better

Yes, you can do this. Your suggested setup for Input 1 and Input 2 is correct (or you could reverse them). Here's a preset that might help illustrate the basic setup. It was created for a setup pretty much exactly like you describe.

The differences might be that the Inputs are reversed (not important) and the FX are (if I recall correctly) all in one path or the other. The most important point is that there are NO FX before the path split. This ensures that your vocal and guitar signals are processed completely independently. If you want them to share FX (e.g. reverb) you could simply move that FX to a point after the mixer so that both signals pass through the reverb FX.. But I would only do that if I ran out of FX slots; otherwise I would keep a reverb FX separately in both paths for independent reverb control.

Both paths are stereo - meaning you could, for instance, use a stereo delay on your guitar (as long as you don't place a mono FX behind it in the signal chain). You can use the mixer to pan your two signals as you desire. If you are feeding into a mono source (your power amp?) you can just use one of the unbalanced output jacks - the signal will be summed to mono.

I have been looking for hours trying to figure out how to do this. Good news is that I'm much more savvy with the editing software

So I'm not a professional musician, and I have a Blues Deluxe combo amp. My friend is getting married and asked me to play and sing at the reception for a bit. I got a shure SM58 mic for vocals and thought it would be great to plug both the mic in (via XLR) AND the acoustic to try to get some reverb effects on both. Is that possible...I like the reverb and delay effects on the pod and don't really want to play totally dry pickup and vocals. Could someone please describe to me how to do this or point me to a patch where someone has already done this ..if it can be done.

Would this work -

Mic in via XLR (Input 1)
Acoustic guitar via Guitar In (Input 2)
signal out L/Mono to power amp in on amp
Not sure what the mixer settings should be - both at 100% left to get full output on both A and B?

Just telling me what connections to make would eliminate like half my problems i'm sure - I don't mind tweaking but don't know where to start. Thanks!!
