The solo function solo's the selected channel on the headphone bus. This is because the channel that plays the track is the same as the live channel. A solo in place, where all other channels are muted, would be very problematic live.

What you can do: You can program the "Mute Mics" button. While the "Mute Mics" button is pressed press all channel mutes. Now all channels are muted when you press "Mute Mics". You just have to un- mute the one you want to hear.

Hi,

When I playback recordings from the SD card, I try to solo a track but I can't. I choose the "Show Solo Buttons" on the top strip, the buttons on each track change to a headphone but pressing one of them does not solo the track... How come?
