I didn't know I had to plug my speakers into the GX.

It works well (not the mp3, I have to convert it in .wav before).

drag and drop mp3 on empty track in ableton...

arm another empty track and setup inputs etc...

hit record... play with track....

you can mixdown the results to a new track if you want...

you also have to have your speakers plugged into the GX and have it set as your input and output for audio.

Hello,

I want to do something very very basic :

- to listen to a music mp3

- to play guitar at the same time

- to record the guitar

- to export the mp3 music and the guitar sound recorded in a .wav or .mp3 file.

I have :

- PC intel core i5

- Windows 7 64 bits

- realtek soundcard

- line 6 GX

- pod farm 2.55

- live lite 7

all files upadated with line6 monkey.

(I also have tried to use asio4all)

Does anybody know the settings of pod farm 2, live lite 7, the drivers, the sound card to do what i want ? I've been trying for few days.

In ex1.gif, i can hear the guitar in the speakers but i can't record it and i can't listen to live lite 7

In ex2.gif, i can record the guitar and listen to live lite 7 but i can't hear the guitar in the speakers. Moreover, I don't know how to listen to the guitar sound i have recorded.
