Can't tell you the date of manufacture, but based on the serial number it was manufactured after the two known maufacturing issues had been resolved: footswitch durability and USB audio dropout. Your device should have neither of those problems. Just make sure the firmware is up to date (run Line 6 Monkey to check it) and you're good to go.

Just got a nice one Can you telll me the date of purchase ? Also are there any mods that need to be done by the service center ?

I got a used one with the lower serial numbers. I don't see why there are some many compaints about Line 6. I made one call got a service ticket for repairs at my local service center at no charge. It was way out of factory warrenty without the sells ticket. They messed up and are taking care for it.

any used x3 lives for sale for a reasonable price ?
