not all tones are compatible... specifically any pod farm 2 tones wont work... and they have the same file extension so it gets confusing.

Got it but need to read info, downloaded a tone and cant seem to get it to go into gearbox it says its not supported, podfarm then openes and that wont take it either?

100% free, its tone editing/library management application...

if you haven't done so already get monkey and it will help you get everything else...

Is gearbox available to me as a free program or do i need to buy a license?

it only works as a plugin also...

you can't launch it from the icon with an x3....

you need to add it as a VST to a track in your DAW.

to work with your tones or play standalone use gearbox.

It should work if you have your X3 Pro properly connected via usb. Run Line 6 Monkey to make sure that the required driver is installed, that it detects that your X3 Pro is connected, and that it detects that Pod Farm 1 is installed. If any of those are not detected by Line 6 Monkey then you have an installation problem of some sort.

For newer versions of Pod Farm you would also have to run Line 6 License Manager to complete the authorization. I'm not sure if this now applies to older versions as well - maybe worth a try.

x3 Software question

I have downloaded Pod farm 1 and when i try to run it get a message saying 'cant find any compatible hardware', i thought this worked with the X3 PRO, what software is compatible from this site.
