The HD500 does not directly support a dual-output mode, so you have to choose one output mode or the other. However, there is a way to use the HD500 FX Send to feed the PA while routing the 1/4" to your amp. Try searching the forum for threads that describe this. I will do the same and let you know what I find.

Am I not able to run into a pa and my guitar amp?? or is it just one or the other?? The system runs fine in amp, but when plugged up to both, it really hums??

You should set the Output Mode on the HD500 differently depending on your setup. When using the amp, use one of the Live modes (e.g. combo front). When routing to the PA use Studio mode. If you are using a guitar with hot pickups you might also try engaging the PAD switch.

If you are still getting buzzing please let us know more about your setup and symptoms. Is this occurring with all presets or just some? Have you tried different guitars? Have you tested all your cables?

Hello, everyone just was hoping someone could help. I recently got a Pod HD 500. I tried to hook it up to my amp and pa at my church, and got this serious buzzing noise.. I thought this was suppose to be able to do this but maybe not, If someone could help I would really appreciate it. .
