New Floor Pod Plus user, Silly questions or valid issues???

Hi there, This is my first post so go easy if im being thick!

I recieved my floor pod plus brand new yesterday and I have just a couple of questions. Im not a stranger to the pod as I had a 2.0 bean before.

1. The POD works fine when using presets, When I try to put it in manual mode the sound dissapears, the lights for amp, effects etc still work but no sound. When I take out of manual mode back to the presets, still nothing. It seems turning the power off and on again brings the sound back

2. When trying to calibrate the pedal, I get to the point where I have to puch pedal C, when I do nothing happens as it said it should in the manual
