Looking at the schematic the mod looks pretty simple. I'll prolly do that in the long term. It'll work better with my current routing scheme.

Cheers!

Using an adapter like this certainly won't be adding much to degrade your signal, if that's what you mean by "junk in your path".

It's just more junk I gotta have in my path. I wonder if there's a way to mod the unit to defeat the switching. Maybe have a mini toggle on top... Just thinking...

If you have a cable plugged into the right output, you would be losing one side of effects that have a stereo separation. Depending on what effect they are it could be noticeable. It's a simple workaround to sum the signals, though. Just pick up one of these, or these depending on whether you need male or female ends.

M9 Stereo Output Question

I have my M9 housed in a way that makes it hard to access the output jacks once it's mounted (104.). I want to be able to swap back and forth from a stereo output set up to mono. This would require leaving a short jumper installed in the right output jack. Obviously, this solution will work fine when I'm running to two amps. But if I'm running mono using only the left output, does the presence of that plug in the right jack automatically switch the unit into stereo mode making some fx unusable? You know, fx that that are stereo but whose outputs is summed when using only the left ouput jack. If this is the case is there a work around?
