Hey Bro.

Unfortunately, you cannot use headphones and low volume to setup your live patches (in my experience). You need to configure them through outbgoard gear at comparable volume to get the results you want. There's just no way around that.

The settings I see for bass and treble are classic examples of headphone/low volume tweaking. They sound great at low volume I am sure. I suspect you will be making significant reductions.

If you have access to a powered monitor, you should be able to run XLR out to it and get in the ballpark for your live purposes.

thanks. I create patches while monitoring through headphones, so yes, it' slow volume.

By chance, are you setting up the tones at lower volumes and then increasing the volume for live gigs?

This is referred to as the Fletcher-Munson curve. Do a forum search (or a google search) on Fletcher-Munson curve. It describes how sound is heard differently at different volume levels.

I love Slo100 crunch mode. For everything. Rythms. Leads. It's great.

But each time I play live, the sheer amount of treble and presence rips heads off. When I dial patches in, I use AKG K270 headphones. Not a single problem. Live, it borders on unbearable (i use studio mode and go direct to board). Recently we played three gigs in a row, all with different monitor and PA systems, and it sounded the same everywhere. despite the fact that I backed treble and presence down, and switched to a ribbon mic. Of course, I am suspecting monitor (headphone) issues, but anyway -

I enclose the patch. Please give it a listen and let me know what you think. I don't wanna give up on this model.
